Each warrant issued by the Controller payable pursuant to Sections 21235, 21236, and 21237 from the Investment Dividend Disbursement Account in the Public Employees’ Retirement Fund to a retiree or beneficiary of the Public Employees’ Retirement System shall be accompanied by a statement in at least 10-point print that shall advise at a minimum that: (a) The benefits are paid quarterly and are paid solely from any moneys then available in the Investment Dividend Disbursement Account (IDDA). Current law provides that the last payment will be made on October 1, 1993. (b) Moneys become available in the Investment Dividend Disbursement Account (IDDA) only when the investment earnings exceed the earnings forecasted by the actuaries and adopted by the Board of Administration of the Public Employees’ Retirement System. (c) The increases are subject to some variation, are not cumulative, and will not be included in your base allowance entitlement, are not subject to any cost-of-living adjustments, and may be discontinued or reduced if sufficient funds are not available.
