As used in this part, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context: (a) âCouncilâ means the Civil Rights Council and âcouncil memberâ means a member of the council. (b) âDepartmentâ means the Civil Rights Department. (c) âDirectorâ means the Director of Civil Rights. (d) âPersonâ includes one or more individuals, partnerships, associations, corporations, limited liability companies, legal representatives, trustees, trustees in bankruptcy, and receivers or other fiduciaries.
