(a) A program administrator shall establish and maintain a training program for PACE solicitor agents that is acceptable to the commissioner. (b) A program administrator shall require each PACE solicitor agent to complete an introductory training that addresses the topics listed in subdivision (c) as part of the program administratorâs enrollment process for PACE solicitor agents. The introductory training shall require that the PACE solicitor agent pass a test that measures the PACE solicitor agentâs knowledge and comprehension of the training material. The introductory training shall not be subject to any minimum duration requirements. (c) In addition to the introductory training, a program administrator shall require that each PACE solicitor agent complete six hours of education provided by the program administrator within three months of completing the program administratorâs enrollment process. The training shall include the following topics: (1) PACE programs and assessment contracts. (2) PACE disclosures. (3) Ethics. (4) Fraud prevention. (5) Consumer protection. (6) Nondiscrimination. (7) Senior financial abuse.
