This article does not prohibit any licensee from contracting for, collecting, or receiving the following: (a) The statutory fee paid by the licensee to any public officer for acknowledging, filing, recording, or releasing in any public office any instrument securing the loan or executed in connection with the loan. (b) Premiums paid by the licensee of the kind and to the extent described in paragraph (2) of subsection (e) of Section 226.4 of Regulation Z promulgated by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (12 C.F.R. 226). These amounts are not included in determining the maximum charges which may be made under this article.
