The director may also enter into agreements with federal administrative committees established by the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States pursuant to the provisions of the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 (50 Stat. 246), with advisory boards and program committees which are established by the director pursuant to Chapters 1 (commencing with Section 58601) and 2 (commencing with Section 59501), Part 2 of this division, with producers’ cooperative marketing associations and other producer or handler organizations to assist financially or otherwise in the development of such projects or programs and in putting the results of such projects or programs into operation within this state.
