Every container in which buttermilk is sold shall be labeled with a label containing all of the following information: (a) The name and address of the distributor. (b) The factory license number of the manufacturer, if the manufacturer is not the distributor. (c) A statement that the product is pasteurized, if pasteurized. (d) A statement that the product is cultured. (e) A list of ingredients added, such as salt, stabilizers, and flavoring. (f) If the principal label uses descriptive modifying terms, such terms shall not be false or misleading.
