Butter which is sold to the retail trade shall be labeled with the name and address of the manufacturer, the wholesale distributor, or the retailer. The following words shall appear above the name: (a) The words âmanufactured byâ if the name of the manufacturer is given. (b) The words âdistributed by,â if the name of the wholesale distributor is given. (c) The words âput up forâ or âput up by,â as the case may be, if the name of the retailer is given.
