In addition to any other reporting requirements under this chapter, the director shall provide written updates to the Legislature every six months and shall participate in all oversight hearings conducted by the appropriate policy committees and budget subcommittees of the Senate and Assembly. The updates shall describe the bureauâs progress in protecting consumers and enforcing the provisions of this chapter and shall include, but not be limited to, all of the following information received pursuant to Section 325 of the Business and Professions Code: (a) The total number of student complaints received. (b) The general nature of these complaints. (c) The outcome of these student complaints.
