(a) The chancellor and the Superintendent are the state officials responsible for identifying and understanding the educational needs of adults in the state. (b) The chancellor and the Superintendent shall use the powers provided by this article to support the effective provision of services that address the educational needs of adults in all regions of the state. (c) In performing duties under this article, the chancellor and the Superintendent shall seek advice from, and coordinate with, other state officials responsible for programs for adults.
