(a) The governing board of a community college district may lease land for a term extending to the expected duration of use by the district. (b) Any lease contract or agreement entered into pursuant to this section shall be initiated by resolution authorizing such action and prescribing the terms thereof adopted by vote of a majority of the members of the governing board.
