(a) This article shall be known as the Golden State Education and Training Grant Program Act. (b) For purposes of this article: (1) âCommissionâ means the Student Aid Commission. (2) âGrantâ means a Golden State Education and Training Grant awarded pursuant to this article. (3) âInstitution of higher educationâ means a campus or extension center of the University of California, the California State University, or the California Community Colleges. (4) âProgramâ means the Golden State Education and Training Grant Program established by this article.
