(a) âDistrictâ means a community college district maintaining one or more community colleges. (b) âDistrict governing boardâ means the governing board of a district maintaining one or more community colleges. (c) âGoverning boardâ means the Regents of the University of California, the Trustees of the California State University, the Board of Governors of the California Maritime Academy, or the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges.
