In implementing the plan adopted by the State Board of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction is authorized to: (a) Contract with county superintendents of school or local educational agencies to supply services to migrant children residing within specified geographical regions. (b) Enter into agreements or otherwise cooperate with other states or agencies of the state or the federal government in providing or coordinating services to migrant children including the Mini-Corps Program as well as participation in or utilization of the Migrant Student Record Transfer System, or other equivalent information systems as may be used by the state.
