Any school district that provided education in kindergarten or grades 1 to 12, inclusive, pursuant to Chapter 12 (commencing with Section 42950) of Part 24, may increase its revenue limit by an amount per unit of average daily attendance not to exceed the reimbursement received under a countywide tax levied for the local share of the revenue limit and for the excess cost of providing special programs for such children pursuant to statutes that existed in this code during the 1976â77 school year.
