(a) Commencing with the 2022â23 fiscal year, for each school district with fewer than 2,501 units of average daily attendance, on account of each necessary small high school, the Superintendent shall make one of the following computations selected with regard only to the number of certificated employees employed or average daily attendance, whichever provides the lesser amount: Average daily attendance Minimum number of certificated employees Amount to be computed per teacher 1â19 1 $196,100 1â19 2 $279,590 1â19 3 $621,060 20â38 4 $760,855 39â57 5 $900,650 58â71 6 $1,040,445 72â86 7 $1,180,240 87â100 8 $1,320,035 101â114 9 $1,459,830 115â129 10 $1,599,625 130â143 11 $1,739,420 144â171 12 $1,879,215 172â210 13 $2,250,095 211â248 14 $2,656,345 249â286 15 $3,062,600 (b) For purposes of this section, a âcertificated employeeâ means an equivalent full-time position of an individual holding a credential authorizing service and providing service in any of grades 9 to 12, inclusive, in any secondary school. Any fraction of an equivalent full-time position remaining after all equivalent full-time positions for certificated employees within the school district have been calculated shall be deemed to be a full-time position.
