Service subject to coverage by the San Francisco Employeesâ Retirement System pursuant to Section 24701 is excluded from coverage in the Defined Benefit Program. The member shall retain the right to receive a retirement allowance for creditable service that is subject to coverage under the Defined Benefit Program unless he or she withdraws his or her accumulated retirement contributions for that service.
