(a) Reversal by the board of any act of the committee or the chief executive officer shall be effective on the date fixed by the board. (b) Payment of benefits prior to the boardâs action of reversal may not be affected by such an action, except for the recovery of the amounts paid, from the beneficiary receiving the amounts, as the board may direct.
