The following definitions govern the construction of this article: (a) âConstituent entityâ means an entity that is merged with one or more other entities and includes the surviving entity. (b) âDisappearing entityâ means a constituent entity that is not the surviving entity. (c) âSurviving entityâ means an entity into which one or more other entities are merged.
