(a) In this division, the following definitions apply. (1) âAdjustment dateâ means July 1, 2025, or the date that is one year after the effective date of the act adding this division, whichever is later. (2) âDivision 12â means Division 12 (commencing with Section 12101). (3) âDivision 12 propertyâ means a controllable account, controllable electronic record, or controllable payment intangible. (b) The following definitions in other divisions apply to this division: âControllable accountâ Section 9102. âControllable electronic recordâ Section 12102. âControllable payment intangibleâ Section 9102. âElectronic moneyâ Section 9102. âFinancing statementâ Section 9102. (c) Division 1 (commencing with Section 1101) contains general definitions and principles of construction and interpretation applicable throughout this division.
