If the program operator takes possession of the property, pursuant to this article, the program operator shall give the subject participant a reasonable opportunity to remove the participantâs property from his or her dwelling unit on the program site, and, thereafter, the program operator may consider the remaining subject participantâs property to be abandoned property pursuant to Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 1980).
