This Act shall be known as T he C ivil C ode  of  the S tate  of C alifornia , and is in Four Divisions, as follows: I.âTHE FIRST RELATING TO PERSONS. II.âTHE SECOND TO PROPERTY. III.âTHE THIRD TO OBLIGATIONS. IV.âTHE FOURTH CONTAINS GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE THREE PRECEDING DIVISIONS.
