The conciliation proceedings may be terminated as to particular parties by either of the following: (a) A written declaration of a party to the other party and the conciliator or conciliators, if appointed, to the effect that the conciliation proceedings shall be terminated as to that particular party, on the date of the declaration. (b) The signing of a settlement agreement by some of the parties, on the date of the agreement.
