The renewal or reinstatement of any certificate of registration of a civil engineer under Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 6700) of Division 3, who is also a licensed land surveyor, shall not include the renewal or restoration of his land surveyorâs license, without the payment of the surveyorâs renewal fee or penalty.
