(a) With the approval of the director, the board shall appoint a registrar, fix the registrarâs compensation, and prescribe the registrarâs duties. (b) The registrar is the executive officer and secretary of the board. (c) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2028, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2028, deletes or extends that date.
