The following definitions shall apply for purposes of this chapter: (a) âDepartmentâ means the Department of Consumer Affairs. (b) âDirectorâ means the Director of Consumer Affairs. (c) âBoardâ or âbureauâ means the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. (d) âExecutive officerâ means the executive officer of the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
