No licensee or applicant for a license under this chapter shall be denied a contractorâs license bond solely because of his race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, or sex. Whoever denies a contractorâs license bond solely on the grounds specified herein is liable for each and every such offense for the actual damages, and two hundred fifty dollars ($250) in addition thereto, suffered by the licensee or applicant for a license.
