It is unlawful for anyone other than a professional engineer licensed under this chapter to stamp or seal any plans, specifications, plats, reports, or other documents with the seal or stamp of a professional engineer, or in any manner, use the title âprofessional engineer,â âlicensed engineer,â âregistered engineer,â or âconsulting engineer,â or any of the following branch titles: âagricultural engineer,â âchemical engineer,â âcivil engineer,â âcontrol system engineer,â âelectrical engineer,â âfire protection engineer,â âindustrial engineer,â âmechanical engineer,â âmetallurgical engineer,â ânuclear engineer,â âpetroleum engineer,â or âtraffic engineer,â or any combination of these words and phrases or abbreviations thereof unless licensed under this chapter.
