(a) Anywhere the term âlicense,â âlicensee,â âpermit,â or âcertificateâ is used in this chapter or Division 1.5 (commencing with Section 475), it shall include persons holding practice privileges under this article, unless otherwise inconsistent with the provisions of the article. (b) Anywhere the term âemployeeâ is used in this article it shall include, but is not limited to, partners, shareholders, and other owners. (c) For purposes of this article, the term âlicenseâ includes certificate or permit.
