(a) The board shall establish and appoint a Pharmacy Technician Advisory Committee to advise and make recommendations to the board on matters relating to pharmacy technicians. (b) The committee shall serve only in an advisory capacity to the board and the objectives, duties, and actions of the committee shall not be a substitute for, nor conflict with, any of the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the board. (c) The committee shall consist of the following: (1) Four licensed pharmacy technicians representing a range of practice settings to provide a diversity of perspectives. (2) Two licensed pharmacists, of whom one shall be a member of the board and shall be appointed by the board president. (3) One member of the public.
