(a) A person represents themselves to be a speech-language pathologist when they hold themselves out to the public by any title or description of services incorporating the words âspeech pathologist,â âspeech pathology,â âspeech therapy,â âspeech correction,â âspeech correctionist,â âspeech therapist,â âspeech clinic,â âspeech clinician,â âlanguage pathologist,â âlanguage pathology,â âlogopedics,â âlogopedist,â âcommunicology,â âcommunicologist,â âaphasiologist,â âvoice therapy,â âvoice therapist,â âvoice pathology,â or âvoice pathologist,â âlanguage therapist,â or âphoniatrist,â or any similar titles; or when they purport to treat stuttering, stammering, or other disorders of speech. (b) A person represents themselves to be an audiologist when they hold themselves out to the public by any title or description of services incorporating the terms âaudiology,â âaudiologist,â âaudiological,â âhearing clinic,â âhearing clinician,â âhearing therapist,â or any similar titles.
