For the purposes of this article, “club” also means any peace officers’ and employees’ association which is composed entirely of active and retired peace officers and employees of a law enforcement agency which holds regular meetings, is located in a county of the first class, and the members of which pay regular dues. No license shall be issued pursuant to this section to any club which restricts membership or in any other way discriminates against any person in the use of any of its facilities because of that person’s color, race, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, or age.
