A âstandardbred horseâ is any horse (including mare, gelding, colt and filly) that meets the requirements of and is registered by the United States Trotting Association, including foreign horses meeting the requirements of the United States Trotting Association. For the purposes of this section, this definition shall also apply to the term âharness horse.â
