The department may issue a limited clinical laboratory scientistâs license in cytogenetics to any person with a minimum of seven years of work experience in this state as a cytogenetic technologist who provides evidence of satisfactory performance on a written examination administered by the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel on or before December 31, 1991, in the specialty of cytogenetics, and who meets the federal regulatory requirements for personnel performing high-complexity testing.
