Electronic funds transfer and electronic data information election

(a) Employers may remit income withholding for child support by electronic funds transfer and electronic data interchange transaction. (b) The Title IV-D agency shall notify the employer when a case is assigned or transferred to the clearinghouse, at which time the employer shall begin or continue income withholding for child support and may remit such payments to the clearinghouse by electronic funds transfer and electronic data interchange transactions.
