(a) All public school districts shall assist through participation in the Education Faculty Involvement Program when requested. (b) (1) Any certified person employed by a school district who has credentials acceptable to a publicly supported institution of higher education may serve as adjunct clinical faculty at the institution so long as the national accreditation of the institution is not jeopardized. (2) Exemplary teachers may be selected by the school and college faculty as adjunct clinical faculty in the colleges of education upon approval of the school district. (3) Teachers with experience in restructuring schools and outstanding teachers in mathematics and science shall be given special consideration for placement as adjunct clinical faculty by the school and college faculty.
