(a) A person or student organization aggrieved by a violation of this subchapter may: (1) Bring an action against the state-supported institution of higher education and any other persons responsible for the violation and seek appropriate relief, including without limitation: (A) Injunctive relief; (B) Reasonable attorney's fees; and (C) Expenses; and (2) Assert such violation as a defense or counterclaim in any disciplinary action or in any civil or administrative proceeding brought against the person or student organization.
