(a) (1) The board which currently owns the property and capital equipment of any existing community-based education center is authorized to retain ownership of such properties. (2) Provided, however, ownership of such properties may, by vote of the board, be restructured. (b) (1) Furthermore, the board of the host school is encouraged to create a board composed of superintendents of all schools sending students to the community-based education center. (2) Such board may act as a governing board for the community-based education center. (3) Furthermore, such boards are encouraged to have members that are representative of business and industry in the community-based education centers service area. Acts 1991, No. 228, § 5.
