(a) (1) Any full-time staff and ten (10) extra help positions at Northwest Technical Institute, may be paid up to: (A) Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per clock hour for the fiscal year for noncredit teaching assignments; or (B) Five hundred fifty dollars ($550) per semester hour for the fiscal year for teaching courses beyond the defined teaching load. (2) An amount paid under subdivision (a)(1) of this section may be in addition to an eligible institute employee's maximum allowable salary. (b) A teaching load that makes an institute employee eligible for additional payments under subsection (a) of this section shall not exceed one hundred fifty (150) clock hours or nine (9) semester credit hours per school year. (c) This section applies only to credit and noncredit courses that are funded by private industry. Added by Act 2023, No. 870,§ 48, eff. 7/1/2023.
