(a) Physical aspects and specifications for buildings, classrooms, and other facilities for, or likely to be used by, children with disabilities shall be approved by the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation or a designee. (b) The division or a designee of the division is required to review plans for public school construction or remodeling that are designed for children with disabilities to ensure accessibility and usefulness for that purpose.
