(a) There is established in the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education a Special Education Unit. (b) The unit shall be headed by a director, who shall be qualified by education, training, and experience to take responsibility for, and give direction to, the programs of the division relating to children with disabilities. (c) Implementation of this section shall be dependent upon funds being made available to the division for this purpose. Amended by Act 2019, No. 757,§ 59, eff. 7/24/2019.
