An open-enrollment public charter school may apply for and the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation may grant moneys from the Open-Enrollment Public Charter School Capital Grant Program Fund for one (1) or more of the following purposes: (1) The maintenance, repair, renovation, and new construction of academic facilities; (2) The cost of acquiring a site and constructing and equipping an academic facility on that site; (3) The purchase of instructional materials, technology systems, and other academic equipment; and (4) The repayment of debt incurred by an open-enrollment public charter school for one (1) or more of the purposes identified in subdivisions (1)-(3) of this section.
