Studies and appraisals - Reports

The State Board of Education is authorized, to the extent that funds are available for that purpose, and in cooperation with other appropriate agencies and organizations, to: (1) Conduct studies of methods for improving and expanding school lunch programs and promoting nutritional education in the schools; (2) Conduct appraisals of the nutritive benefits of school lunch programs; and (3) Report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and to the General Assembly.
