Disposition of federal funds

(a) The State Board of Education is authorized to accept and direct the disbursement of funds appropriated by any act of the United States Congress and apportioned to the state for use in connection with school lunch programs. (b) The state board shall deposit all such funds received from the United States Government into a special account and shall make disbursements directly to school districts upon receipt of proper claims prescribed by the state board.
