(a) Every school bus used for the transportation of pupils to or from school shall be equipped with one (1) or more mirrors of sufficient size so positioned on the bus as to permit the driver to see clearly the area immediately in front of the bus. (b) The Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation is authorized to adopt appropriate rules as it deems necessary to carry out the intent and purposes of this section.
