(a) (1) The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education shall design a system of administrator leadership support and evaluations that: (A) Is aligned to current leadership standards adopted by the State Board of Education; (B) Uses multi-tiered systems of professional support and learning for what a leader should know and be able to do; and (C) Provides a research-based framework to conduct administrator evaluations. (2) The division may collaborate with state and national school leadership organizations and institutions of higher education with school leadership preparation programs to develop the system.
