The State Board of Education shall promulgate rules as necessary to set forth the: (1) Process for identifying and addressing a school or school district that is failing to meet the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts; (2) Process and measures to be applied to require a school or school district to comply with the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts, including, but not limited to, possible annexation, consolidation or reconstitution of a school district under § 6-13-1401 et seq. and this subchapter; (3) Appeals process and procedures available to a school district pursuant to this subchapter and current law; and (4) Definitions and meaning of relevant terms governing the establishment and governance of the Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and School Districts.
