(a) Following a secret ballot vote by two-thirds (2/3) of the licensed employees in a local building site to implement site-based decision making, the local school district board of directors may adopt a policy for implementing site-based decision making in the school district, to include, but not be limited to, a description of how school district policies have been amended to allow school employees at the local school building site to be involved in the decision-making process as they work to meet educational goals. (b) For the policy to be implemented, it must be adopted by a majority of the board of directors of the school district. Amended by Act 2013, No. 1138,§ 10, eff. 8/16/2013. Acts 1995, No. 1125, § 3.
