(a) After each regular, fiscal, or extraordinary session of the General Assembly, the board of directors of each public school district in the state and the superintendent of the school district shall review the acts of the General Assembly for that session to determine whether a law regarding child abuse and relating to public schools has been amended or has been added to the Arkansas Code. (b) If a board of directors of a public school district determines that the General Assembly has amended or added to the Arkansas Code a law regarding child abuse and relating to public schools, the board of directors shall update the school's policies to accord with the new law within sixty (60) days after sine die adjournment of the General Assembly.
