Solicitation on or near a highway

(a) It is unlawful for any person to solicit a donation or offer to sell any item or service: (1) On a state highway; (2) Within ten feet (10') of a state highway, if there is not a sidewalk along the highway; or (3) Between the highway and a sidewalk, if there is a sidewalk within ten feet (10') of the highway. (b) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor. Acts 1993, No. 980, § 1.
