As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Transmitting utility" means any corporation or other entity primarily engaged in the railroad or street railway business, the furnishing of telephone or telegraph service, the transmission of oil, gas, or petroleum products by pipeline, or the production, transmission, or distribution of electricity, steam, gas, or water. (2) "Uniform Commercial Code" means subtitle 1 of this title. Acts 1965, No. 375, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 73-2302.
